West Wales Warriors u.18 team was formed to give the basketball playing youth of the region a truly competitive arena to develop their skills. Players come from clubs throughout Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion.

As a newly formed organisation this is our first venture into the competitive world of basketball across South Wales.

Despite the initial teething problems of running a team where members live up to 100 miles apart and travelling to home games and training is greater than most people travel to away matches it is hoped that this will be continued in future years and maybe even expanded to other age groups.

West Wales Warriors won both the SWVBA u.18's League & the SWVBA u.18's K.O. Cup during 2007 / 2008 - a remarkable achievement considering it was their first year in existence.
