Hell of a Game!!!
Game started at a leisurely pace, exchanging baskets, Coach Dai hit a couple of threes back to back and Tropics looked comfortable, Deuce are incredible when they break properly and went on a 7 point run and found themselves up 15 to 13, couple of buckets from Sam, then Deuce continued on the run with John Reynolds hitting 5 quick ones and olly george with a couple, and Deuce got up 28 to 16 at the quarter.

Storm started the second quarter with a 3 from Dan Davies and another from John Reynolds, and the deuce were up 19 and looking on course for an easy win .
tropics took a time out and established that they were playing like a bunch of fools at a swat convention and so the revival began................... 8 quick points in a minute from Stoney and Andre capped with a strong drive from Adam got us straight back in it, followed by a 3 from Dai and Sam on a drive and it was a nine point game, then another 3 from Tavi and it was a six point game in next to no time and deuce were pretty much in a state of shock.

couple of buckets from Olly George and Eugene, kept deuce ahead at the half despite two baskets from Adam and Dai.

Second half Tropics kept the initiative, with Adam going strong and Sam, despite being sick again, hitting a three, another good shot from Stoney and another three from Sam and we were in front.........

Deuce hurt themselves by missing 3 out of 4 free throws straight, and were made to pay by Sam hitting four straight, followed by another 2 from Dai and a layup from Adam.

more missed free throws from the tropics (four straight) and two from Ox George, as well as a bucket from D. Pancreatitutusstisuka, or Darius to his mates, and it was a tense three point affair, until Sam hit another lay up,

fourth quarter was a largely tense affair with both teams throwing poor passes and the difference being tropics hit 6 of their 10 points from the free throw line, Miika hitting 4 free throws, in the clutch, and also tropics getting 2 free throws and possession with less than 20 on the clock, pretty much sealed a 6 point win for the tropics.

well done to Deuce who were immense at the start of the game.
Chuffed with our effort and focus after the first quarter, great team performance, everyone played their roles and got us a vital win.
